Web Clips in GMail

So it seems that GMail is making a not unexpected forray into RSS.

This afternoon GMail was as normal, this evening I see a cheeky little extra at the top of my posts. It seems that it now incorporates RSS. It's just a little headline at the top of my messages which Google seems to pick from about 20 different 'recommended' feeds so it doesn't feature very heavily but nonetheless it's there.

Interesting, I wonder what will come next?

Ha yeah. I went to my Spam folder, and the Web Clip link changed to "Spam Hashbrown Bake - Serves 8". I think that's a different kind of spam. :)
